Shoulder Breaks is a beautiful and meditative trick. You can do it for hours on end mixing many different variations and letting your mind wander. You don’t need much room to preform this trick. You can practice Shoulders Breaks anywhere; At the beach, at the park or even while watching TV at home.

Place your hula hoop with both hands at the same starting position as if you are performing Shoulder Hooping. Hold the hoop with both hands and give it a spin with your dominant hand. Then, rotate slightly with your body in the same direction as the hoop. Let the hoop make a half rotation over your chest then raise your weak hand to block the hoop’s rotation and send it rotating the other way. Let it make another half rotation over your chest then raise your dominant hand and repeat the process.

We recommend starting out with Shoulder hooping.
